Before I left, as we lay down to rest I could feel ya head n shoulder caressin my chest U didn’t want me to go, told me that I should know That I should be faithful 2 u n do as im told I laughed n brushed it off, thinkin it was a joke Didn’t know u took it to heart be cuttin the rope Now im on tha road and it feels like im all alone Couldn’t wait until the day that I be finally home Recitin these poems they be right in my dome And somehow I found they bound 2 sound tight on tha chrome But then u gone, needed a break is what u say Tellin me u goin away for a couple of days So now alone again *uh* I be lacin a track Control the flow and emotions I be takin it back Chillin in tha studio with a pad and a pen Didn’t know, how bad u was mad at me then

I roll up some cess to be controllin my stress Don’t forget I go to bed won’t be holdin my breath Inhale deeply take tha white smoke to my chest Lean back relax breathe out and then I can rest Keep my mind at ease so its easy to be strong Or I can stay up all night long doin my songs Keepin it chill feel no reason to hurt Happiness comes first yo I be makin it work Gotta hold my head high as I look to the sky Gotta keep it goin strong and I think u know why Im over u, coz I got somebody else She’s so understanding plus she fine as hell If u keep listenin I might tell u who I know fo sho I love her and u might do too So take a look in my eyes don’t be walkin away Realize n recognize her name is mary j *haha*
